Chuburna é uma vila piscatória próxima de Mérida, Iucatã, com praias repletas de vegetação e mar de águas tranquilas (agora bastante mais agitadas pela passagem do furacão Milton). É aqui, diante do Golfo do México, que se iniciará mais uma etapa da áudio-caminhada TERRA NULLIUS, um projeto que tenta capturar uma ‘experiência do lugar’ cruzando-a com narrativas pessoais e coletivas. Um espetáculo que transborda do espaço do teatro, ocupando a geografia urbana da cidade e o espaço virtual de discussão e pensamento.
TERRA NULLIUS está a ser acolhido pela associação de preservação ambiental Lírios de Mar em Chuburna e pelo Teatro de la Rendija em Mérida. Esta digressão tem apoio à internacionalização de República Portuguesa – Direção Geral das Artes e Fundo Cultural da Fundação GDA.
Chuburna is a fishing village near Mérida, Yucatan, with beaches full of vegetation and calm seas (now much rougher due to Hurricane Milton). It is here, in front of the Gulf of Mexico, that another installment of the TERRA NULLIUS audio walk will begin, a project that tries to capture an ‘experience of place’ by crossing it with personal and collective narratives. A show that overflows from the theater space, occupying the urban geography of the city and the virtual space of discussion and thought.
TERRA NULLIUS is being hosted by the environmental preservation association Lírios de Mar in Chuburna and by the Teatro de la Rendija in Mérida. This tour has internationalization support from the República Portuguesa – Direção Geral das Artes and Fundo Cultural da Fundação GDA.
